It was one of those
hot summer days
and it was my siesta time
and I was lying on the
naked floor of this friend’s apartment house
trying to suck in the comfort
from the floor when this 3 years old kid
walked in
and without much warning
kicked me on my face.
Not that it hurt me physically much
but I was amazed to see
that she is learning the
tricks of life pretty fast.
It is time to move on
I thought and turned on the other side.
